For Producers
What BMP brings to your event.
BMP is not just “Jumbotrons running Ads” — instead, BMP brings a high-quality production to the show, integrating closely with your performers/competitors, announcers and introducing new revenues for you by allowing sponsors to buy advertising time.
How It Works
BMP brings the environment to you at no direct charge — that includes the equipment and packaged content production — all you have to do is provide the relatively small square footage for the screens and production trailer, and relatively modest support in the form of advance meetings etc. BMP handles the television content, which consists of Hollywood-produced ‘packages’ on the performers or competitors, live camera shots and sound, and involves your announcers so that the audience truly gets a powerful and memorable multimedia experience. With so many distractions, gadgets and media outlets hitting consumers all the time, it’s important that major outdoor events keep up with the times — BMP is here to solve that for you.
The Broadcast Day
For up to 11 hours per day during your event, BMP offers spectators a combination of quality pre-packaged video material, along with live feeds, integration with the narration, and commercials when there a lulls in the action. At many times rather than straight commercials BMP will roll packages that fit with the event theme, such as ‘The Speed Demons’ or ‘The Warbirds’ which are paid for by corporations a la public television.
Other key elements of the BMP on-screen broadcast include:
- Introductions to Acts: Text, photos and video to inform
- On-screen Program Guide: continually updated
- Announcers & Performers: Audiences get to see them larger than life
- Dignitaries & Celebrities: Live or recorded welcome messages
- Ceremonies: Allowing the audience to see trophies, awards and more
- Vendor & Exhibitor Info: Maps, video and direction text increase sales
- Lost Child Notices: proven to boost ‘find rates’ dramatically
- Emergency Information: aids in crowd management should a problem occur
- Directions to exits: improves speed of egress post-event
Giving You New Revenues From Sponsors
Most event sponsors are affiliated with larger, national companies, most particularly in the beverage, automotive and banking industries. BMP is acutely aware of the need to avoid conflicts between its national advertisers and your sponsors — by coordinating in advance of the event and applying time-proven measures developed by Major League Baseball and other traveling sports activities where television is present, sponsor conflict is minimized and in most cases does not occur at all. Instead, you can reap new revenues from the ‘local insertion time’ that BMP gives you to sell to your local sponsors, amounting on average to one hour out of the total broadcast day. BMP has a track record of working tightly with event producers to ensure that local sponsors can access the co-op marketing dollars typically provided by their parent companies — essentially this is found money to you and even the local affiliate themselves.
